Contrary to currently popular opinion, traditional European espresso is made with light roast coffee (rather than dark American-style espresso roast). This light roasting method allows the coffee flavor profile to flourish. We developed this complex blend of Sumatra Mandheling, Tanzanian Peaberry, Columbian and Costa Rican at a full city roast exclusvely for espresso lovers. Tastes in espresso vary, but if you want to make espresso the European way, Black Gold is the clear choice.
